1. DSTwo kernel updated to V1.11, added AutorunLastRom function(open or close this function in the system setting menu of game interface). Supercard DStwo news : A defect of DSTWO paper box

Finally, a defect of DSTWO paper box had been found out by a smart customer. He found out that in the box appear two times “Real Time Save” instead of “Real time Save” and “Free Cheat” as shown in the photos from the official website.
Actually, we just noticed this mistake half month ago. And new paper box will be correct.
As you know, DSTWO released for about a year, nobody notice this mistake printed on the box.

How to fix firmware 1.08 cause DSTWO broken problem?

Recently, some customers upgraded the firmware to 1.08 met problems, it looks like the Supercard DSTWO is broken. DSi and 3DS could not recognize the DSTWO. However, DS and DSLire work fine.

Part I: (99% situation)

YES, this is 1.08 firmware bug,  the supercard team had fixed this bug and the last firmware is 1.09 now.

How can we fix the DSTWO that DSi and 3DS could not recognize?

1. Find a DS or DSLite console. (borrow from friend, classmate, colleague or game store).

2. Download the Fireware ver1.09 and EOSv1.11 to the MicroSD. Make sure these files and folder in the MicroSD.

3. Turn on the DS or DSLite power, system will auto detect firmware 1.09.

4. Then upgrade to 1.09 and this bug fixed.

5. DSTWO can work with DSi and 3DS again.

Part II: (1% situation)

There is another situation, if DS and DSLite could not recognize the DSTWO too? Why this happen? It should be power off or reboot when upgrading the firmware.

What should I do?

Please be careful when you upgrading(DO NOT power off/reboot), or maybe you will fail, it’s very dangerous! But don’t worry if you had failed, we can fix by this way:

1, First at all, you need a DSLite or old fat DS.

2, Download the newest Fireware ver1.09 , EOSv1.11 and the newest dstwoupdate.dat file (please choose the correct region version for your cart), and copy them to the root of your microsd card.

3, Run dstwo_load_NDSL.nds which released by Supercard Team on a flashcart which can run homebrew(like DSONE/i, DSTWO, DSTT, R4), then you will get the follow screen:

Pull out your flashcart, and insert the DSTWO which need to be upgraded, then insert the microsd card which stores the newest firmware, EOS and dstwoupdate.dat file. Then press B to continue upgrading.

Note:

Why we insert microsd cart after insert DSTWO?

because some high-speed microsd card need much power. Then console may reboot when you insert cart which had been inserted microsd card.

Q:How to upgrade DSONEi mini firmware?
A:Use a DS or DSL can upgrade DSONEi firmware.

Q:How to upgrade DSONEi mini without the firmware writer?
A:Use a DS or DSL can upgrade DSONEi firmware.

Q: What’s the function of the Firmware writer?
A: Only use in this situation: If the software of console upgraded and do not recognize DSONEi. Firmware writer can renew the firmware of DSONEi. And DSONEi can work again.

Q: How to use Firmware writer?
A: Please download Newest Firmware from http://eng.supercard.sc. Copy downloaded firmware to microSD insert into DSONEi then insert into Firmware writer then into USB port for power supply and operation. No extra software need, the Firmware writer will renew the firmware of DSONEi automatic. 8 Mins. needed. Flashing light mean renew in progress. Green light mean renew finished. Red light mean renew failed. If failed, please repeat the progress.

(Possible reasons fail to upgrade)
1： Download the wrong version firmware file, such as English version DSONEi can not be upgraded by Chinese version firmware file. Please download the correct one.
2：Put the upgrade file “updateen.bin” into sub directory, not the root directory, firmware writer can not detect the upgrade file.
3： USB port can not provide a stable power, please change a stable USB port.
4：Firmware writer broken or DSONEi broken
5：too many disk defragments in the MicroSD，so format it before upgrade
