R4i-sdhc has broken NDSi V1.4.2 successfully! Meanwhile, The latest updating patch for NDSi V1.4.2 has been released! Full support products labeled "V1.4.1" and "3DS" upgrade.The R4i SDHC team released newest kernel v1.39b for DSi v1.4.2 firmware.
The R4i SDHC card was the first card under the R4 brand name to be produced for the Nintendo DSi. Cards were previously compatible with the Nintendo DS and DS Lite consoles while they can not work with the newer DSi owing to new hardware incompatibilities. But the R4i SDHC overcomes this difficulty.
How can I make my R4i sdhc work on nintendo dsi version 1.4.2?
So I just bought a nintendo dsi xl yesterday along with an r4i sdhc that supports 1.4.1. Stupid that I am, I updated the firmware on my dsi to 1.4.2. The R4 just comes up with an error screen now. Is there any way I can undo the update? If not, what can I do??

how to upgrade r4i_sdhc for dsi(1.42)
1. First, reformatting the SD,go to www.r4i-sdhc.com to download the latest kernel 1.37b.
2.Unzip and copy the files(R4iMenu,moonshl2,moonmemo,r4.DAT) to the root of MicroSD card.
3. Go to www.r4i-sdhc.com to download the dsi(1.42) upgrade package of purple r4i-sdhc.
Unzip and copy the files(fwup142.nds ) to the root of MicroSD card.
4. Insert MicroSD card into r4i-sdhc card, insert r4i sdhc card into
nds\dsl\dsi\dsill\dsixl
5.Turn on console and press “A” button to run the upgrade file fwup142.nds. Note:When upgrading the r4i-sdhc card, it is not allowed to turn off power or pull out r4i-sdhc,otherwise it will damage the r4i-sdhc card.
